FAQ

  • Short run mean anywhere between 10 - 200 books. That is the sweet spot. At around 100 books we can start to match Amazon’s pricing.

  • Yes we do. We generally charge a pre-press design fee at $35 per hour to make files print ready. This rate is only for print customers.  

    For most books, this usually involves extracting the front and back cover from the PDF file, creating a simple spine design, laying out the elements and then adding bleed in a design software. This will take between 1 - 3 hours for our designer to do. 

  • We make all our books in house, from graphics, imposition, printing, finishing and binding. Because of that we can turn around most orders in 48 hours.

    Allow for extra time if it is a bespoke order, eg A3 landscape hardcover books.

  • Yes we ship Australia wide. For Sydney and New South Wales deliveries expect 1-2 Business days.

  • Of course! Drop in to see us and you risk being knocked over with our enthusiasm especially when you start us on design, software and the question of quality!

  • Surprisingly we are, this is because we just do one thing well and that is book production. We are even willing to make just one or two books at an affordable price.
